Why We Started

In 2014, Lisa's mother was diagnosed with an aggressive form of Lewy Body dementia. It stopped us in our tracks and made us look closely at everything in our home — the products we used, the candles we burned, the air we breathed every day. We realized that so many everyday candles are made with paraffin wax, synthetic fragrances, and chemicals we couldn't pronounce. We knew we could do better.

That's why we started Farmhouse Candle Company — to create something beautiful, clean, and safe for the people and homes we love.

Our Farmhouse

We named our company after our farmhouse, built in 1848 in the heart of Wisconsin. It's a place full of history, warmth, and character — and it's the inspiration behind everything we make. The rolling fields, the changing seasons, the quiet beauty of the Midwest — you'll find all of it woven into our scents.

Our Craft

Every candle is hand-poured in small batches using our signature blend of coconut, soy, and beeswax — all natural, all intentional. We take our time with every pour because we believe the details matter. From the wick to the wax, each element is chosen with care to ensure a clean, even burn and a lasting fragrance you'll love.

Our Promise

No paraffin. No toxins. No shortcuts. Just clean-burning, all-natural fragrance you can feel good about bringing into your home — because what fills your space should be as pure as the moments you create in it.

Thank you for supporting our small family business. It means everything to us.
